First Nations Foundation is proud to announce its new partnership with Indigenous Business Australia (IBA). Through this partnership, First Nations Foundation and IBA will work together to increase access to culturally informed financial education, community outreach and initiatives that support financial confidence, wellbeing and economic participation.
The Train-the-Trainer program will equip approximately 60 community-based participants across three states and territories to deliver First Nations Foundation's Financial Fitness content.
First Nations Foundation will also deliver several outreach programs, including in the Pilbara (Tom Price, Newman and Jigalong), the Kimberley (Bidyadanga, Ardyaloon, Djarindjin) and rural New South Wales (Narromine, Bourke, Brewarrina), with other locations to be scheduled in 2027.
In addition, this partnership will support a two-day Women's Forum – Our Ways, Our Wealth which will strengthen women's financial confidence and business capability through culturally grounded, peer-based learning forums. It will be held in Naarm, Victoria in November 24 – 25 and aims to reach at least 30 First Nations women.
