Commonwealth Bank (CBA) has partnered with First Nations Foundation (FNF) to expand national access to My Money Dream, FNF's free financial education program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learners aged 16 to 60. Designed by Mob, for Mob, the program is now accessible across CBA's branch network, digital platforms, contact centre and Indigenous business banking channels.
In line with CBA’s Indigenous Customer Assistance Line (ICAL) and their greater FY26-FY28 Reconciliation Action Plan, this commitment aims to deliver meaningful financial education with First Nations organisations.
FNF’s CEO Leah Bennett stated this collaboration will scale this program, enabling greater reach and impact across First Nations communities;
“Financial systems in Australia are sophisticated, but they are not always accessible. For many First Nations people, particularly in regional and remote communities, barriers still exist at the point of engagement.
“My Money Dream is designed to close that gap. It reflects our communities, our experiences and the realities of how money is managed across different contexts.” said Ms Bennett.
