Focused on creating better financial futures for Australians for over 100 years

About QSuper
QSuper is part of Australian Retirement Trust one of Australia’s largest super funds; and our members always come first. Because we are a profit-for-members fund, members can be assured that we’re working in their best interests, not someone else’s.
We are committed to increasing the financial wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, which is why we partner with First Nations Foundation. We focus on improving financial literacy, promoting cultural awareness, and increasing access to superannuation services and potential benefits.
Partnering to Support You

Practically aiding your financial wellbeing
Our members are at the heart of everything we do.
QSuper believes in investing in partnerships and education that aims to improve the wellbeing and financial literacy of our members and broader communities.
That’s why we travel to remote communities to listen to residents’ needs and help connect more people with superannuation, no matter what the postcode.
We travel to APY Lands, the Aṉangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara region in the remote northwest corner of South Australia, and remote communities across Queensland.

Our trip to Lockhart River on the east coast of Cape York Peninsula and our focus on lost accounts in Far North Queensland resulted in members being reunited with more than $2.8 million in lost super.
Since July 2019, trips to four Queensland Indigenous communities of Thursday Island, Doomadgee, Yarrabah and Bamaga saw remote members reconnect with more than $1 million in super.

QSuper’s Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan

Our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) demonstrates our dedication to advancing reconciliation in Australia.
Our RAP focuses on improving financial literacy, promoting cultural awareness, and increasing access to superannuation services and potential benefits. We deliver practical actions that can help build stronger relationships and enhance the financial wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.
We also continue working to support Indigenous Australians through relationships with the Australian Securities and Investment Commission’s Indigenous Outreach Program, the Queensland Department of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships, and the Australian Institute for Superannuation Trustees Indigenous Working Group, which is focused on how to improve superannuation outcomes for Indigenous people.

Helping You Connect With Your Super
We have been working towards improving retirement outcomes for all our members by removing, where possible, barriers to access us and their superannuation.
For example, we utilise the AUSTRAC identification guidelines for people including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, which allows for more flexible types of ID to be used where more typical forms, such as a driver’s licence or passport, are not available.
