Big Super Day Out

AustralianSuper has partnered with First Nations Foundation on their community outreach program, the Big Super Day Out for many years. We’re grateful to be part of a initiative that visits urban, remote and regional communities across Australia to connect with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and provide help and guidance about their superannuation.

Making an Impact in 2020 and beyond

AustralianSuper is proud to continue to partner with First Nations Foundation supporting indigenoussuper.com.au – a great online resource offering culturally relevant superannuation information and assistance to Indigenous Australians nationwide.

AustralianSuper's Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan

AustralianSuper’s Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) was the first step in our journey towards building a tomorrow we can all be proud of. The Fund continues to implement a number of initiatives to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members, and build relationships with Indigenous Australian service providers and the business community.

Australian Super Made Easy

Many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples face challenges such as accessing and engaging with their super, as well as a lack of financial literacy, which is a major cause of social isolation. All of these things result in financial insecurity and poor retirement outcomes.

This is why AustralianSuper partnered with the Central Australian Aboriginal Media Association (CAAMA) to produce a 7-episode radio series called Australian Super Made Easy. The series explores the basics of superannuation and insurance as relate to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
